Great home insurance experience!

After moving to a grade 2 listed property our home insurance costs were "out of the park. " The change process with our existing provider was a long painful telephone telephone call with someone who appeared to have little understanding of the property I was describing. The end result a massive increase! After shopping around I decided to try Admiral. I had watched their advert on TV. I applied on line and secured a significant reduction. Despite the listed status the price was less than I had been paying in our previous property! I was so surprised I contacted Admiral customer services just to clarify that everything was correct. The on line application process was simple and straightforward and the customer service person was friendly and competent. I was extremely pleased.. I also receive regular newsletters from the company with seasonal tips and advice to keep our property safe. This was a new and helpful addition, needless to say we renewed with Admiral this year. Good competitive prices

Ive used this company many times before for car insurance. They offer good competitive prices. At present i'm using them for home and travel insurance and will most likely go back to them, when my car policy comes up for renewal. Reviewed on: 3rd September 2024

My last interaction with Admiral was about my Home Contents renewal, the gentleman I spoke with listened to my reasoning and duly reduced my renewal price. A very easy procedure carried out with courtesy. Reviewed on: 1st September 2024

Use Admiral, they do it right.

Easy to contact, good communication, minimal contact unless initiated so not getting loads emails etc - the emails have clear a precise information.Competitive prices so keep with them despite looking elsewhere each year to see and if I find cheaper they match like for like quotes.What more do you want? Peace of mind

Recently renewed my home insurance, managed to reduce fee with agent re-jigging my voluntary excess and got a loyalty discount for choosing to stay with Admiral. Part of my home is an old 1860 cottage with a 1980 extension. Other insurance companies wouldn't cover it but Admiral did. So relieved. Peace of mind and great customer service. Good service, but beware the annual increase

Customer service was good whenever I contacted them. Excellent cover. BUT, the premium increased massively after 12 months, despite making no claims and no changes to circumstances. The first time, the agent was able to get close to the best alternative price, so I renewed for another 12 months. The second time, the premium went up ~30%, and there was no leeway on the price. Thanks very much, but I won't be renewing when I can get the same cover for £120 less elsewhere. Reviewed on: 30th August 2024
