Absolutely useless

Further to my August review, still not received a penny compensation. Husband has died in Sept. Ageas have totally ignored legal proceedings they should have carried out according to legal papers they sent me when I claimed in MARCH 2019. Car accident not my fault

Car came from left side road and hit me at speed, yards from zebra crossing, knocking me right over main road and then was in oncoming traffic and was hit by land rover. 81 hrs old, week in hospital with serious soft tissue damage. Car written off and sent home with Zimmer frame and carers. Had 4 different case managers, have whiplash. Sent to see doctor for 5 mins who didn't examine me and get states I will be ok in 8 months. Ahead useless. Trouble is the defendant was also insured with Ahead. Don't sign up for their services as it is non existent. They have no intention of getting you the compensation you should get! Made and upsetting difficult process even worse

I have had a personal injury claim with Ageas Law after a fatal car accident for 20 months and the whole process has been horrible. The numerous case handlers I have had have been dismissive, aloof and utterly uninterested in the case. The medical "professionals" they send you to see can barely make eye contact then come up comprehensive copy and paste reports after seeing you for all of 3 minutes. Totally regret going with them. Mess up

Got hit by an uninsured driver and said i was covered under u insured drivers policy act.. cut a long story short i had to do their job for them got the uninsured driver to admit liability and still wouldnt reimburse my excess aswell as giving me 2 grand less than my car was worth.. the words out of their mouths were 'even if the third party is uninsured doesnt mean its their fault' an experience eith this company has left me exhausted, insane and livid and i recomend not anyone to take put insurance.. oh also i paid for a courtesy car but because it was write off and not repairable they wpuldnt give me one leaving me and my pregnant partner to suffer.. absolute shambles of a company and shouldnt be allowed to trade or insure anything Reviewed on: 13th June 2019

Don't bother with Ageas

I took out car insurance with Ageas, I made a admin mistake and did not reveal a car incident. They emailed me and increased the premium by 60% and would not reduce the premium. I had the policy for 2 days and they wanted to charge £35 to cancel the policy. I was paying by DD so told them to stuff it and cancelled the policy. Reviewed on: 6th June 2019

THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH!!!!!

From previous comments you can see the horrific service of this company. From start to finish this company has been a complete mess. The stress and anxiety it has caused me due to lack of communication (not returning phone calls, emails, not keeping me in the loop) having several advisers due to "leaving staff". I have had to bring together my own evidence while going though an accident claim that was not my fault. I could not think of a company that I would recommend less. After waiting over a year an a half for my case to be settle my payment has been received from the third party and still has not been deposited to myself. THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH!!!!! Reviewed on: 18th April 2019

WARNING.....

Son aged 17 took out car insurance policy with black box requirement. The company installing the box reported the grill was not the standard original part and would be classed as a undeclared modification. This grill was fitted by previous owner and my son had no knowledge of it not being original. Another issue was tinted windows which my son offered to remove immediately. Broker then advised him Ageas cancelling policy with no opportunity to correct so called modifications Basically 11 days insurance has cost £168 which included cancellation fee & black box installation (which never took place) plus black mark on insurance history.
