Terrible Paid insurance for years. My dog was put to sleep recently - tried to claim of insurance & told not possible to claim as my dog was over 8yrs old !!! Reviewed on: 9th October 2023

Don't Do It

Before you consider taking out insurance with these thieves....stop....put your debit card down. Don't believe their "animal friends" nicey nicey name/image...these guys will whatever they can to not pay you the money you're owed. My dog has been left lame and in pain for nearly 2 months while I've had two different claims denied. I've now just had to bite the bullet and pay for it myself. I've had insurance with them for 4 years and never claimed a penny. Then when I need them... guess what, they try to wriggle out of paying and couldn't care less about your pet. Best advice I can give you is to direct debit the money you would pay to them monthly into a savings account and further down the line if/when you need it you will have a pot of money to at least lessen the burden Reviewed on: 2nd March 2021

Wonderful from start to finish.

Animal Friends insurance have been absolutely fantastic. My young dachshund has unfortunately suffered from meningitis and Animal Friends were there for me in our trauma and need of hour. If Animal Friends hadn't been so quick in response to my dachshund emergency needs. He would not be here. I want to thank Animal Friends again for everything they did and do. Value for money

Animal friends are a great company they keep you updated on what's happening with the newsletter every month, their prices are fair and a great option of how you want to pay monthly payments are affordable, they are very helpful when you speak to them on the phone. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2023

Been with Animal Friends for a number of years now and happy with prices and terms offered with choices for pet insurance. Also feel they go above and beyond when it comes to updates on how to check your pet and good free advice with hints and help with various things that can go wrong or upset your pet. Amazing company for pet insurance

My dog ruptured her accruciate ligaments first her left & then her right on consecutive years. Both times the staff were so helpful and empathetic when I contacted them and my claims were dealt with efficiently & speedily . After the first claim I expected my premium to increase considerably but I was still quoted a fair & competitive price at renewal. They say you only know how good an insurance company is when you need to claim, well as a result of needing to make 2 large claims I can confidently say Animal Friends are an amazing company & I have recommended them to many of my friends with pets and will continue to do so Reviewed on: 3rd August 2023

Fantastic company, great support through a tough time

Animal Friends have been fantastic through a tough year with my horse, supporting us along the way and allowing us to make the best decisions for him medically.
