Terrible Paid insurance for years. My dog was put to sleep recently - tried to claim of insurance & told not possible to claim as my dog was over 8yrs old !!! Reviewed on: 9th October 2023

Don't Do It

Before you consider taking out insurance with these thieves....stop....put your debit card down. Don't believe their "animal friends" nicey nicey name/image...these guys will whatever they can to not pay you the money you're owed. My dog has been left lame and in pain for nearly 2 months while I've had two different claims denied. I've now just had to bite the bullet and pay for it myself. I've had insurance with them for 4 years and never claimed a penny. Then when I need them... guess what, they try to wriggle out of paying and couldn't care less about your pet. Best advice I can give you is to direct debit the money you would pay to them monthly into a savings account and further down the line if/when you need it you will have a pot of money to at least lessen the burden Reviewed on: 2nd March 2021

Excellent company

My 9 year old cat has been insured with Animal Friends since I got him at 10 weeks old. I have never had a moments trouble with any of his vet bills. He was diagnosed at an early age and Animal Friends has been fantastic Reviewed on: 3rd August 2023

Best pet insurance company in the UK.

Well .not much really. Been with them for years. And won't move anywhere else. It's nice to know that my cat is well insured. Just incase. Love all the care tips. And a vet on hand. Peace of mind .

Brilliant Insurance

Great insurance company. I have been with them for many years. Premiums obviously have to go up annually but it’s really minimal. The claims team are also very helpful as I have experienced in the past. I’ve not used the Joie facility but think it’s a good thing to have should you need a vet to talk to about any concerns. Great Insurer

I feel like Animal friends have sold me a policy that covers all of my needs at a competitive price. They send regular news letters with tips and advice how to best look after your dog/pets. Would highly recommend Reviewed on: 3rd August 2023

Fast and efficient

My vet puts through my claim and I will receive an acknowledgement from Animal Friends within three hours. They usually pay my claim within 24 hours. It doesn't get much faster than that! Reviewed on: 3rd August 2023
