They failed to do anything on my case against lambert car sales Ltd other than make the odd phone call and send a letter. I had to apply to stop the company closing down. I had to attend court twice to win the case, I had to pay more money in fees. When it came to bailiffs collecting they got the money paid to them and it took 7 months to get anything out of them even then it was just the value of the car and no costs. I raised a complaint in December 2019 which is still not resolved. I paid £1200 to have a debt recovered which they said they would also recover but have not. It is as if they have no intent to recover their costs because they have taken it from me. They also keep a third of what is recovered. They collected £3171.88 and paid me £1704.08 7 months after collecting, as you can see they have kept more than a third. They do not reply to emails and my case handler is always not available. I have raised 2 complaints which they have ignored the only way I can get any response is to put it in the public domain, even then they complain about review platform policy and dispute negative feedback so it gets blocked without resolving why the negative feedback was left. The worst company i have ever dealt with - Do not use

In September 2023 my company employed them to recover a debt from one of my clients who refused to pay his final bill. They took £2,500 as a fee after coming to my house with the big sell. They successfully collected the debt on November 26th 2023. Well almost 12 months later and numerous phone calls and email the money has still not been returned to me!! They hide behind the collection department and never answer the phone or reply to emails. On Monday 11th November 2024 I will be driving up to there offices in Preston to get my money!! They are the worst c company I have ever come across has have c used me and my family emended mental stress and illness. Reviewed on: 6th November 2024

Absolutely shocking.

Absolutely shocking. Chased and chased this company for an answer. case AY-5163-0217.001. Wasting so much time and they are withholding payment for a debt they have recovered. Same few members of staff answer and give the same -no-one here to talk. Have given an ultimatum - before taking this further. This company should be stuck off. CRIMINAL. If I could I would give negative stars. Been chasing my money for ten months and not received a penny and emails not replied to. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPA Reviewed on: 5th November 2024

Reference *** Took £1500 from me to setup,they have collected over £8000 over a 2 year period but are NOT passing my money over to myself.Customer services ignore ALL emails and no-one can answer any of my questions. DO NOT USE - Small claims court against this company

AYOM collected all monies owed to me from the debtor but refuses to pay me out. They collected in full in January 2024 and I'm still waiting to be paid anything. They've even gone as far as GDPR removing the debtors information from the portal and considering my case complete... How is this possible if I haven't received a penny? We are in the process of filing small claims court against this company and have reported to Action Fraud. Reviewed on: 15th October 2024

We did also ask on Google for you to get in touch so we could verify you as a user and if so, assist but we have yet to receive any correspondence to the email account requested. As per our previous response on Google: Hi James. We have an article here on why we incorporate a holding period once retrieving any money from your debtor (https://www.areyouowedmoney.co.uk/ayom-blog/post/chargebacks-holding-period.php). Whenever we receive payment, to avoid charge backs from the debtor's bank we wait until it is impossible for them to claw the money back. This timespan varies depending on the method of payment and isn't the same timescale for every payment type. Total Shame and Scammers

We engaged this company to collect a debt for us in June 2023. Their Sales team were very good and said we would get our money back quickly. The lady at the office who dealt with the process was also very lovely and by November they managed to cut a deal a get back some of our money. At that point they told us that in the small print it said they hold the money for 3 months. We accepted this although very disappointed. It is now 9 month since the debtor paid them and still no money. Loads of phone calls but customer services never pick the phone up. Loads of emails but just excuses why and hide behind how busy they are or it's in the hand of finance who never answered the phone or an email. all we want is what we are owed and not excuses. On a finish note they apparent pay out by Cheque!!!! who deals with that nowadays. Reviewed on: 13th August 2024
