I have had a Barclaycard for 50 years, I have a platinum card now, and they are closing my account as I dont live in the UK anymore, Their customer care team, badly named, dont care and cant help me, so they have lost a good customer and I will be closing any accout that I have connected to Barclays immediately and advising anyone who asks about Barclaycard of my experience. Not a user friendly app

The app often freezes and is very clunky to use , it’s not user friendly at all. I often had issues with making a payment towards the card as transactions would freeze so, I had to call up customer services instead. The account does its job of a credit card fairly well and the fees are not horrendous but it’s just user friendly. Reviewed on: 5th April 2025

Good rates.

Good rates. Easy to check balances and statements, make payments. They have some good cash back offers. It is not very easy to change the type to card you have once offers have expired, I have had a credit card with them for a while and they don’t really offer much until you get a new card with someone else. Great offer, smooth approval process

Cannot trust anymore

I have been using Barclays since 3years but I can't use my debit card, it will always show some error even I enter right PIN number. Tried to order new card and pin so many times but same problem occur every time. Recently I applied for credit card I received both card and pin. After 1day I got letter that my credit card has been suspended I can't use it anymore. I tried to contact customer service. They told to wait for 6more months to apply for new credit card. How can I trust them again. I am not going to use this bank anymore and will never suggest others to use. Reviewed on: 8th February 2025

Stay away fro Barclays!

If you ever want to dispute a charge, they'll side with the merchant, even though I sent them emails from the merchant stating they would credit my card back and failed to do so. Barclays still will not dispute the charge. Their call center is of course, overseas, and they are just "robots" that don't help at all. I'll have to file a suit against the merchant now. A safe and unsecured card

I’v had Barclaycard for a number of years. Over the years I’v had to get them to get money back for goods that didn’t arrive. They are Quick to respond if there’s any suspicious activity on my account. I feel extremely safe with this Card and thank them for the service they have provided over the years.
