Convenient, fair, friendly, helpful...Barclays have made me happy!

I love the features that Barclays provide. I find them much more 'with it' than other banks and the use of pingit is very convenient for me and my family. I love that the customer service is always so good and I'm able to contact them whenever I need them. The staff in my local branch are always friendly too and after years of banking with another bank I can safely say I'm very pleased to have switched to Barclays. Reviewed on: 28th January 2015

Just the best bank.

Very happy Long standing Barclays Customer.

Switched for nothing

I switched to Barclays purely to get the switch bonus - they took so long to authorise/process the whole thing that I never got the bonus reward. It also meant that I had no access to the account for well over a week which had some of money in it. This is the one and only time I have used a switch service and had any issues. Direct debits weren't transferred properly and had to be reset-up. The whole thing was a waste of time. I switched back as soon as I could Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

Barclays Bank great bank and easy to use the app

I have been with Barclays Bank for many many years now. They have always been a great bank and the app is really easy to use. I will not be changing to any other bank in the future as I’ve never had any problems with them. Great bank and good customer service too. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

After over 20 years banking with them I was debanked...

After over 20 years banking with them I was debanked by Barclays, who refused to give me a reason. They closed all my accounts except for my mortgage, which meant I could no longer use the offset arrangement I had. I had just months before paid over £1000 arrangement fee to get an offset mortgage which worked well for me because I have a large savings pot. It would also cost me over £1000 to end the arrangement early. As long-standing, loyal customers, we were treated like criminals by our own bank. Reviewed on: 9th February 2025
