Easy to open an account

I was a UK resident but not citizen recently arrived in the UK. I went to several banks to open an account but found them uninterested and unhelpful, except Barclays. Several years later I am still with them. Reviewed on: 15th February 2016

Great Bank account

Happy and pleased.

I have a good overall experience with my bank (Barclays). I have found that if i have issues with them i can easily contact them online for help. In terms of loan/mortgage, i am happy with my overall deal and the expectations that come with it. The bank is one of the last few to still have a branch opened in my town and is conveniently located for us. Reviewed on: 11th February 2022

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Quite simply I am never disappointed whether on the phone or in the bank. I am always met with a willingness to help and polite disposition. Customer service is sometimes under-rated but good/excellent customer service is vital. Reviewed on: 11th February 2022

Used to be great

I have held a Barclays bank account since I was a child and I have never had any issues with them at all. Services have always been good their web and mobile banking is super simple to use. However, they are closing branches all over the general area and my high street branch is now closed. The one the next town over is closed. If I need to make an in bank visit it would mean driving almost an hour to get to a branch now. Very sad. Reviewed on: 7th February 2022

Ongoing high service

I've been a Barclays customer for 40 years. They've supported me through this time through personal loans and a mortgage, plus an overdraft. Although there are banks offering incentives to switch, I'm not tempted. Barclays remain my trusted banking partner Reviewed on: 30th January 2022

What a bank !!!

I have been with this bank from the day I was old enough to open an account and that has been years !!!! Fantastic service in every aspect ,regular offers and deals on side products alongside the bank account ,which I have taken on in the form of loans.They try to find you the feet deal for your circumstances and within your financial budget. Online services are fantastic as well as in house one the counter , never had a bad experience !!! What a bank !!! Reviewed on: 29th January 2022

Great service
