Very quick service, smooth and efficient service

Very quick service. From application to mortgage offer just under 4 weeks, this at a time when all institutions were inundated with applications to beat the labour stamp duty increases. I had been advised that there would be a delay because of the SD increases so was pleasantly surprised to receive my offer in such a timely manner. Tim was especially helpful at the application stage. I have now had notice of completion. All in all a very smooth and pleasant experience Well done BIBS, impressed with you. Application processing unacceptably slow

We made an application for a mortgage on a new purchase in early June 2024. After many delays and several long turnarounds for information provided, we finally received a mortgage offer on 6th September 2024. Unfortunately, we have not bee able to proceed wit the purchase because the vendor died just the week befire the offer was received. It is unusual that delays have such an impact but it is always a risk when every piece of information takes so long to review. In this case, the delay has destroyed the sale and cost all of us considerable time and money. Reviewed on: 30th September 2024
