Bath Building Society is a good society that offer good rates against their building society competitors. They do not offer best buy rates on savings Reviewed on: 8th April 2023

The reason that we don’t typically appear in best buy tables is simply because we are currently restricting access to most of our accounts. If we did not have such restrictions we would quite often appear in such tables and even when we don’t we always offer better than average rates. Excellent experience over many years with BIBS

I have banked with BIBS for many years and have always been impressed by their knowledge and friendliness. Recently I withdrew money from my account and when I arrived home I discovered it was £10 short. Within. 10 minutes of my arriving home BIBS were on the phone to apologise and to confirm that the money had been placed back into my account. I really was impressed by them.
