AVOID AT ALL COSTS

just now AVOID AT ALL COSTS,WORST FINANCE COMPANYS IVE EVER HAD. Purchased car in december 2018, had problems with car within a week & no joy from cowboy dealer, contacted blue along with report & evidence & they tried to fob me off. After several calls complaining they got hold of dealer & made them reimburse me the costs for new brakes. A month down the line dpf light came on, took to main dealer who diagnosed unable to regen & new dpf required at £2k. Contacted blue again who advised serviceable item. I requested to back the car but they refused. Contacted obudsman & 12 months later still waiting for outcome. November 19 i was signed off work with depression & had sick notes which i forwarded to blue motor finance & informed them i couldnt afford the monthly repayments as only getting SSP. They were not interested & threatened to repossess my car & i would still owe them over £3k or they would issue CCJ. This was not helping my mental health & making it worse with worry. Jan 20 i lost my job & again updated them & advised was applying for UC which would take 6 weeks for payment & i still would not be able to afford the £209 they required. I asked if i could pay £100 a month till back in employment or a payment holiday, they abruptly said no, monthly payment plus the 2 months arrears or will be issuing ccj, repossessing the car, or i could VT but would still owe them thousands & would expect same payment each month. They have put defaults on my credit file which is now ruined and have sent threatening letters & emails & calls despite my situation not improved. With covid 19 im unable to find a job let alone start so nothing i can do. Im worried every day they will send baliffs and i cant be without a car as have a child. All my other creditors have put 90 day holds on my payments no problems, these are the ONLY company who will not help at all, non sympathetic, rude staff with zero customer service & ruin peoples credit history. I do not know how they are allowed to still be trading & pray the obudsman go in my favour. Reviewed on: 31st March 2020

not intrest in you but getting there money is more imported

Been with Blue motor finance customers now for 4 years and and never missed a payment cause I had an accident at work and I lost two toes and part of my foot after exhausting all of my money out of my bank account phoned them up to say I had accident and sent them proof of the accident all the cared about was when are you going to pay then was told one thing and then another thing asked if I can speak to a manager and all I got was a guy called will who was very rude on phone and all he wanted was the money for the account I even said I was trying to pay but am only getting ex amount from sick pay and can only afford to pay some of the money but there not interested in what I had to say there a good company until something happens and then there very nasty with you would like a manager to get in contact with me about this and I will change my comments but until then it stays as it is Reviewed on: 8th September 2019

Unprofessional company

Such an unprofessional company, its been 6 months since I raised the complaint and still have a car that's completely undrivable. Failed to rectify the issue even tho they took the car away for weeks. I've now taken the matter up with the citizens advice bureau, the motor ombudsman and my solicitor. I'd give a 0 rating if it was possible. They our sly and sneeky with there approach too case's and close them before the issue is even sorted out. It's having an negative effect on my health with the stress of it all and the financial difficulty it puts upon myself paying for tests etc. Reviewed on: 4th June 2019

Not fit for purpose

I bought a brand new motorbike from a dealer and used Blue Motor Finance to Finance the bike. Straight away the bike had issues. So after 12 weeks of ownership and the bike being in the dealership 6 of them and counting, I rejected the bike under not fit for purpose. Spoke to Bethan who said it was me who had to speak to the dealer. She could not understand that they owned the bike and it was there responsibility to deal with it. Now got Financial Ombudsman involved. Staff have no idea on customer rights. Reviewed on: 4th December 2018

Avoid this company at all costs !

Having part exchanged a great car and added finance from Blue Car finance., I believed my consumer rights would be upheld. The car suffered a major engine failure before six months of ownership . I was also still waiting for the service history that was advertised with the car . According to the consumer act 2015 I am entitled to repair, refund or reject the vehicle . The finance company informed me they would contact the dealer to arrange a repair , surprise surprise the dealer wasn't interested as the repair was £5,000 ! The five star warranty he sold me wouldn't cover the repairs . The component that failed is meant to last the lifetime of the car , Audi told me the fault would of been there before I purchased the vehicle , I sent evidence of this to blue motor finance along with original advert where service history is mentioned and I've never received it , also the milage was wrong , the dealer advertised the vehicle with 5000 less miles ! As I had mis-sold the vehicle as well as it having a major fault , I decided to reject the vehicle under my rights of consumer rights and protection from unfair trading 2008 . Blue finance completely side with the dealer , he has told them he gave it to me ! And they believe him . I managed to get a copy of service history from Audi and it only has first 3 years , why would I pay Audi for this service if I already had it in my possession ! Blue motor finance do not keep you informed during their "investigation" , they NEVER call you back and if you manage to get through to your person dealing with your complaint they are away from their desk , at lunch or on the toilet ! Yes , that was said to me . When they wrote to me saying they are looking into my complaint they state their procedures were enclosed , they wasn't . The person dealing with my complaint Bethan , had no knowledge of consumer rights and didn't even know the finance company owns the vehicle , kept insisting the dealer owned it . Sounded very inexperienced and out if her depth . I have now sought legal advice and currently setting out my case through the court system . The law is on my side and I cannot stand injustice so I will be taking this all the way . I implore anybody who is thinking of using this company to look elsewhere , I wouldn't want anybody to experience what we have gone through with this bunch of clowns . If one person listens to this advice then my review would of been worth it . This is the first time I've ever written a review , not bad for a forty something lady ! Car returned eventually

Bought a car from local dealer via blue motor finance and the car started to play up after 3 weeks after numerous phone calls and returned journeys to the dealer(4 times), and not having the car for nearly 7 weeks, blue motor advised me to have the car repaired by the dealer again but enough was enough and returned the car after many phone calls. Was told the money I paid (6 months)was to cover the depreciation value of the car and was charged 25 pence per mile (only done 2300 miles in 6 months) so nearly £900 pounds to drive a bag of bolts when I asked why all this money I was told it was the dealers fault, when I spoke to the dealer it was blue motor finances fault. So if you want to take out finance with this company I hope from personal experience your car doesn’t play up otherwise you will see their true colours good luck you have been warned Reviewed on: 27th September 2018

Absolute poor customer service

Having settled my account I questioned the amount payable after doing my research. Following my conversation the advisors could not grasp that an overpayment was made and a refund was due, it took several conversations and sarcastic call to have them understand, finally got the refund. I then asked for a statement five calls later it finally was sent.
