Easy to follow account

Straightforward easy to follow banking via app that doesn’t need my shoe size and dead cat’s name to allow me to log on. Reviewed on: 8th February 2023

Straightforward no hassle

HSBC current account is easy to use and set up, its simple and cheap so long as you keep in credit and not go into the overdraft. Useful notifications if you do stray over. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2023

Shame local branch is closing

I have been happy with their service but unfortunately my local bank is only open on weekdays and is now closing. App is easy to use. Reviewed on: 1st February 2023

Just works

App always works. Online always works.Payments are always fast. Cheques can be paid in easily. Every thing just works as it should. The fraud team are excellent. They have branches so you can still go and see a human if needed. I paid my HSBC mortgage off no fuss, land registry charge all dealt with automatically. The price you pay for all this is no intrest. But for a current account that you can 100% trust and rely on,its a price worth paying. I have opened accounts with almost all the other high street banks and online /app only ones in search off better rates/ welcome bonus . In the end they all get closed but HSBC remains the account i trust for my wages to be paid into.The only one which comes close is first direct - which is a HSBC spin off. A great bank with low rates and great support

I have been with HSBC since I opened my bank account. They've been brilliant - offer very generous overdraft for students to use in emergencies, great customer support I never have problems with, reliable messaging, the list goes on...! Reviewed on: 1st February 2023
