Good Customer Service

A good bank but tough to get an appointment in person

I have banked with HSBC for many years and have been happy with their service online and in the bank itself, my only issue would be that they should invest in more staff in their banks for busier days when requests can not be fulfilled online. Reviewed on: 24th January 2020

Free £175

Switched from NatWest, super easy, received £175 free cash as a result. Online banking and using the app, transferring money and paying bills is super easy. Customer service is great. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2020

A lot of room for improvement

Constant issues with the banking app, my actual transactions and keeping track of them, as well as the overall customer service and care shown. The service itself is poor letting me down on multiple occasions and definitely not delivering the minimum expected service. Reviewed on: 19th January 2020

Good sign up bonus, so-so service since

Whilst there is no cause for complaint as such I find the app and online banking to be a bit lacking in the user friendliness dept. I want to give descriptions to my accounts so they're more easily identifiable but it seems that HSBC don't offer this feature. I found this out after a painful live chat with what I presume was a robot or someone with a poor grasp of the English language. I'll bide my time and jump ship when the time is right.
