Crazy % on overdraft

So upsetting they have added 39.9% so basically a balance of £2,300 will cost £75 in fees! Promptly we are clearing it and leaving. They also wouldn't offer any loan seems they not risking capital and to be honest we think HSBC better as their investments in Asia and only bank that didn't request a bale out from the government. Fraud

Had a fraudulent transaction on my current account. Spoke to them and I can honestly say it is the worst customer service. Refused to investigate fraud and refund money. Great interest rate

Highest interest rate I could find for £2500 - a really good place to put the money I'd accrued from a regular savings account at Nationwide Reviewed on: 6th November 2019

Banking at a distance with branch support.

Great service with good web-based and app banking. Apple Pay, paym support and U.K. - based call centres. The mutual structure also means there are no fat cats taking huge profits. Reviewed on: 5th November 2019

great service

I switched over to Nationwide from TSB and the difference in the amount of good products they provide is so much better. The app is brilliant and really easy to use, I would highly recommend them for your current account. Reviewed on: 5th June 2019

Good savings rate

Good current account, which offers 5% interest on current account balances up to £2500 for the 1st year. Reviewed on: 4th June 2019

Poor service

The general day to day banking and the app and website are fine. It has everything you want and need. It’s just the day to day banking in branch that leaves a lot to be desired and the amount of “upgrades” that they are doing is horrendous. Pretty much every weekend I have no access to various or even all parts of my account. Not good enough really! Reviewed on: 10th February 2019
