Awful

I bought a new car and tried to add it to my policy (5 months remaining) and it was going to cost me £85 to change the car. It cost me £53 to cancel my policy! Absolutely ridiculous, but it was still cheaper to cancel and go with another insurance company who were a lot cheaper. They do not want to retain their customers at all, and appear to just want to turnover a quick buck! Reviewed on: 15th February 2019

Bleed existing customers dry while trying to lure in new ones

Absolutely shocking and dishonest. Will take money from you any which way they can. I am paying £59.00 for third party fire and theft and minimal breakdown cover. Just happened to check today and with exact same details on Churchill’s website, I was quoted £43 for fully comp with better breakdown cover! Could be paying that lower rate with loads of other insurance company. Having spoken to Churchill about it they are conveniently ‘unable to match the price mid-term’. ‘Admin fees’ to leave Churchill are so expensive that I’m stuck with this awful policy. Don’t use Churchill car insurance I sold my car so requested to cancel the policy I’m then told the cancellation fee is £53, really for doing what? absolute joke, this is legalised robbery / theft, don’t use this company Reviewed on: 11th December 2018

They don't give the service you are paying for!

I have been waiting 4 days for a courtesy vehicle. They do not help you, customer service and managers on duty is terrible. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Reviewed on: 8th December 2018

Reliable but could do with better customer service

We were with Churchill for a few years, with regards to our Car Insurance. They are a reliable company, but when it came to renew, we were always initially quoted a lot higher price. After contacting them and querying their quote, they found us a much better quote, (usually about £150 cheaper) within about 5 minutes. When contacting them by telephone, we were always waiting for approx 10 minutes, for our call to be answered. Reviewed on: 22nd September 2018
