It doesn't seem two minutes from taking the loan out... It doesn't seem two minutes from taking the loan out to nearly finishing paying it off. Also a great way to save. Reviewed on: 24th January 2026

You can borrow between £50 and £10,000 with a Clockwise Credit Union personal loan.

Repay weekly, fortnightly or monthly with no fees if you choose to repay the full loan early. There’s an option to top up your loan after four months and support is available over the phone, online or in-branch.

Excellent service

I started with notts and lincs credit union when I had to move into my new house to get away from my alcoholic violent baby father, my credit score was non existent due to my ex running up debts in my name and not paying them. I couldn't get credit from anyone to decorate my house or buy items for my new house. Notts and limcs credit union had just started up as notts credit union and I was given a leaflet from my housing officer about them. I applied for a loan and thought they would be like every other credit agency and decline due to my poor credit but I explained my circumstances and they gave me a chance and approved my loan. From there I was able to sort my credit score, start saving money and have savings and have loans that didn't have high repayments or a massive interest and APR to pay back. Amazing company who I always recommend to others. Even recently I had to leave my police officer role due to my autistic son not coping with the hours and my last pay from them was only £61 for the month which left me not able to pay credit union or any other bills that month. I called them and explained and they were very helpful and understanding. The pledged savings that I had acquired from the loan I had with them was used temporarily to cover that months repayment so it would not negatively impact my credit file and I was able to catch up with everything. I can't thank this company enough for their kind, caring, and exceptionally understanding way of doing business. Reviewed on: 30th May 2023

I am a single mum with 2 young kids, coming out of a DV relationship and you guys have really helped me with money and managing etc. It helped over xmas last year as my first xmas as a single mum. and then this year it helped pay for my sons birthday. Reviewed on: 15th July 2025

Excellent company to use 10/10

Never had any issues with this company , always friendly staff there ready to help . They help to your affordability to repay and repayments are lower than any other I’ve ever used , the online app is easy to use and you can always get through to someone when you call, you can increase your loan if needs must and the repayments stay the same Reviewed on: 15th July 2025
