I have the everyday Saver

We have just changed to the everyday saver account from a normal account. I chose this as the worldwide insurance covered me for my medication I take, where as previous travel insurance companies were charging me a premium plus on top charged for cruises at a premium. This account costs £15 month but I can get up to £5 a month cashback, and you also get free mobile insurance and free RAC cover, When you add everything up, I am saving on what I was paying on just travel insurance without the other benefits Reviewed on: 6th November 2017

I love using coop as its an ethical bank, you get that feel good factor whilst doing essential banking. The customer service has always been what has stood out to me as it has been fab either on the phone or in branch. They have updated the online system recently too so please don't be put off by the stories in the press, it's still alive and kicking . I feel my money is safe and I'm well looked after. You could probably get an account with more bells and whistles but this does what it says on the tin. Well done Coop! X Reviewed on: 3rd November 2017

The Reliable Bank

Have been with the Co-op for 50 years and have always found them to be honest, fair and reliable. On the odd occasion when there has been a problem they have always been quick to resolve it to my satisfaction. You always know where you are with the co-op. Reviewed on: 23rd September 2017

The Co-operative Bank has been through hard times of late, but since I opened my current account with them back in 1956, I can honestly say that I have never had a problem. Nowadays my banking is mostly done on line and a smart new website, recently added has enhanced that experience. I am totally happy with the Co-operative Bank and the service I receive from it. Conned me into paying for a Current Account

I was told if I paid monthly for the Current Account I would enjoy a better credit rating and access to better mortgage packages. When it came to getting a mortgage I found this to be false. I complained to the financial ombudsman and they ruled in their favour just because they didn't have a full record of why I signed up to the paid package. Just like all other banks, not ethical like they try to pass off to being. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2017
