Welcome flexibility by a Branch Manager

Things had got into a bit of a muddle re my wife and myself giving notice on our 45 days notice accounts. This happened because we had to give notice during a notice amnesty and your software or the lady serving us could not cope. We wanted to move cash to ISA's and this could not be done at the time because we would have exceeded the £20K limit in a financial year. The Redcar Branch Manager used his discretionary powers and made the transfers for us. Such flexibility is much appreciated and all too rare nowadays in banks. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025
