Great service and sad to leave

Throughout our 3 years mortgage with DBS we have received nothing but the highest quality service. Unfortunately due to the cost of living crisis we have had to shop around for the best rates which is taking us away to another provider. However, we will be looking at DBS mortgage rates in the future and if they are competitive, we will certainly look to return. The service has been impeccable. Thanks for everything! Poor. Numerous attempts to renew mortgage deal by phone. Calls not returned, appointment not met. Wrong documentation emailed. Normally deal personally with branch which is much better service that telephone service. 3 months to get served. Reviewed on: 28th November 2023

We had a telephone consultation with Ann Walpole at Darlington B/scy, we have known Ann for some time now she is very professional and pleasant and was able to answer all of our queries and give us clear instructions to the next stage of the process, in all of our dealings with Darlington B/scy all of their staff go out of their way to help. Excellent customer service

I’ve been a customer for mortgages with DBS for 10 years now and they’ve always looked after me. I like that you can speak to people local and deal with the same person. There’s a personal touch that is lacking at bigger banks. Paula Marshall has dealt with my most recent application for a house move, porting the mortgage over and additional lending. She has been very helpful and kept me updated with progress. Paula has dealt with my case beyond my expectation. I appreciate how quickly the application was processed. Always speak to real people, might be put on hold and hear a recorded message, but not for long and problems invariably dealt with efficiently without being passed from pillar to post. Always very helpful and even ring back when necessary, that's a first for me! Reviewed on: 15th November 2023
