Expensive

Nice and easy to deal with

I've never had any issues with Direct Line, they're always polite and helpful if I need to contact them. They only loose one star because there are cheaper options out there. Reviewed on: 12th August 2018

Perfectly good

I have insured my car with Direct Line, on and off, for over 2 decades. On the rare occasion I have had to deal with them they have been fine. I'd only quibble about the amount offered when my car was written off many years ago but I think it is the market standard to only pay out a trade in value rather than a dealer price so I doubt any other company would have been better. I do a price comparison every few years and they are normally still competitive or the cheapest which is why I haven't changed - can't give a better recommendation than that!
