Great Current Account, great service and no issues.

In well over 10 years with first direct I have never had any issues with their 1st Account (a current account). It comes with free borrowing up to £250 - very useful - as well as the option of a Regular Saver Account into which you can save between £25 and £300 per month for a year and it pays an unbeatable 7% Interest. Since switching to First Direct I have contacted them a few times and each one was quickly answered by UK staff quickly and efficiently. The online banking is easy to use and the free overdraft is a bonus. My previous banking experience was no where as good. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025

I have been a customer for many years and found First Direct to be helpful and fits my needs. However, their ISAs and savings are not competitive. I’m annoyed that there are no incentives to keep me as a customer, only for people who switch their current account. Reviewed on: 26th February 2025
