shocking

I bought the insurance for my daughter on 01.12.15; however, there was a mix up with her licence. I could not speak to anyone about it, as she was the policyholder, although I paid for it. When I eventually spoke to someone, the policy was another £400+. I asked for a refund, but because time had lapsed, you are charging me a handling fee of approximately £40, which I find disgusting. It took less than 4 hours to take an online payment and as of today 16.12.15 I am still waiting for my money to be returned. I had read poor reviews online but I find this appalling service. Fast, Easy, Cheap!!!!

Fantastic service will cheap, reasonable offers. First insurance company and my payments was brilliant! Over 10months and at an unreal amount that I couldn't believe. Fast and easy also, email of confirmation happened instantly and avabilitly to print off terms and conditions etc. Will be recommending the company to everyone who's looking at getting new insurance or re-newing. Good for young drivers

I did a bit of research to try and find a good but cheap car insurance company. Go Girl offered a good price and offer a few nice extras like handbag cover which helped to make up my mind! Reviewed on: 9th December 2015

Easy to buy with Go Girl

Easy to get a quote and purchase insurance. Have not needed to make a claim yet thankfully so can't comment on this part. Reviewed on: 23rd November 2015

Avoid

I took this insurance out for my 17 year old daughter as their quote for a learner driver was very competitive. Someone who had heard negative things about GoGirl then suggested I requoted to see what it would be once she had passed her test (something they don't tell you on the quote). The result was shocking and far more expensive than most other insurers. So it appears that they use a very competitive learner quote to lure customers in and then stiff them once the test is passed. You expect premiums to go up but not from £800 to nearly £5000! Worse still, I cancelled the policy a a matter of hours after I had taken it out, within the statutory cooling off period and 6 days before cover was due to start - they refunded part of my premium but took a £106 admin charge!
