Great bank

Been with Halifax since I was 3 and never been tempted to change. Everything I need in one place and think the app is great. I have another account with a different bank (it’s a joint account) and it just doesn’t compare Reviewed on: 16th February 2023

Do not take mortgage

Strongly advise NOT to take mortgage from this bank. Interest rate is going up every 2 months by £20 because they want to force existing customers to take remortgage, where for £60000 borrowed you have to repay over 100000. Terrible. Reviewed on: 10th February 2023
