Reliable, Easy, Pain-Free

I have banked with Halifax for 5 years or more now. I have not one complaint. I particularly like the app for my phone which is easy to use and efficient. I also have two savings accounts for my children and these are linked to my account which makes it all really easy to keep track of in one place. I also get incentives to stay under my overdraft which is a great extra. Reviewed on: 26th November 2019

Generally fine but forever changing for the worse

Generally this account does what it needs to but every time they update the terms in conditions there are more fees. The reason I opened this account and pay a monthly fee is because I wanted a free overdraft facility but they now charge a daily fee if I use my arranged overdraft. Reviewed on: 24th November 2019

Reward Current Account

I have the reward current account which is perfectly ok. However when I signed up for it you got a £5 per month reward but that has now been reduced to £2 per month. Reviewed on: 23rd November 2019

EASY CURRENT ACCOUNT

SIMPLE EASY TO USE EVEN FOR SOMEONE WHO IS NOT TECH SAVVY, I MANAGED TO SCAN AND PAY IN MY CHEQUE ONLINE WITHOUT HAVING TO GO INTO A BRANCH. Reviewed on: 23rd November 2019

Does what is expected and they have kept my local bank open!

Like the title suggests, as they have kept my local branch open they have earned extra stars. All the banks have closed so makes it impossible to deal with them when I am having to travel 11 miles. Reviewed on: 23rd November 2019

Safety first- know that your money is in safe hands

I feel reassured that my money is in safe hands with Halifax. That they are an on the ball company who regularly keep me updated of banking activities and even send me texts stating my overnight balance after using my card to ensure I am aware of every transaction. In branch they are friendly, welcoming and very helpful. I would gladly recommend Halifax to a friend/relative. Reviewed on: 23rd November 2019

Good Reward
