40 years great service

Been with this bank for 40 years as a current account customer and never had any issues with them Reviewed on: 15th February 2024

Never let me down

Always monitor my payments, and if high or suspect, example, I was on a trip to Egypt and I was buying some jewelry, started payment and got a call from Halifax to check that it was me. I was impressed, and I have always had excellent service from, only minus, not enough high street presence. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Excellent customer service

I switched account from Barclays as I was not happy with their customer service and general in branch experience. I have found the staff and service I have received at Halifax to be excellent. They recently dealt with a complaint I had extremely well taking ownership and handling to my satisfaction. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Convenient account

Stress free and easy to transfer my account to Halifax building society. Plus I received £100 for switching. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Easy to use

This account is easy to operate using online banking or branch. I get a monthly reward as well as other benefits including travel insurance. All direct debits operate as they should I ha s no problems and would recommend this account. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Could be better

I have been a customer of the Halifax from the age of 11. I am now 45. Loyal! However, disappointing that this is very one sided. I receive 0% interest in my current account and get no other benefits. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Their service is very esay to use.

I find the lay out of the app very user friendly. I confidently move my money about. Instore feels like a family rather than a bank. You are welcomed in and the servers aren't pushy or over friendly. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

no rewrd for loyalty

been with halifax for over 18 years. absolutely no reward for loyalty. I have a good credit rating. no offer on credit cards or loans. nothing. Now pushing saving adverts in my face on my banking app. not impressed Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Good customer service, overdraft and perks such as cashback on spending and £5 a month bonus for staying in credit all month. Reviewed on: 8th November 2017

Never had any complaints

Have been banking with Halifax since i was 16 and have always found them to be professional and helpful with no complaints. I have always find customer service very good and they have dealt with my inquries quickly with English based customer services meaning no communication difficulties (not always the case in banking).
