Review of the Halifax, Clarity credit card:

-7.5% for exchange rate

This card gives you free withdrawals aboard but at a stink exchange rate of 7.5%. If you do use if for a cash withdrawal pay it off straight away so you don't start paying interest. However it is good for paying for purchases etc as you get the interbank rate. Reviewed on: 6th June 2017

Easy to bank with

I would recommend Halifax as it is very easy to manage my money with them, the clarity credit card in particular is very useful and there are no fees for using it abroad. Reviewed on: 8th December 2019

Perfect Holiday Card

I've used this card for all my holiday spending for years. You get a superior exchange rate than you do buying currency to go abroad. There are no fees to pay per transaction like a lot of cards have. Reviewed on: 27th November 2019

Blocked my card 3 times abroad

The savings made on no fees for withdrawing cash is great. However when they block my card they send me a text asking to confirm it was me. Unfortunately this text costs me £6 a time to respond to as I am outside of europe. The fact they have blocked it 3 times means it has cost me £18, much more than the ATM fees for other cards Reviewed on: 21st November 2019

You lost another customer!

You lost another customer, including our mortgage, cards and banking accounts! These guys change their term on their cards so often it's shocking. All banks are in serious trouble so they are changing their terms to rip you off as much as possible before they all fold and do a bail-in. Get out of debt soon, these thieves are doing all they can to take as much as possible. They doubled my interest on my card, stating if you dont pay full balance, the 56 interest free days is invalid and they slam you with a huge minimum payment and double interest. AVOID THESE GUYS!
