Review of the Halifax, Clarity credit card:

Great for overseas spending.

Has a very good APR this credit card, but it's best used as a way of getting money overseas. No fees for taking money out of an ATM and no fees for using in a shop, and the exchange rate is set by MasterCard, which is a better rate than you're get anywhere. What's not to love, just remember to pay it off. Reviewed on: 30th May 2017

Long winded but great perks

I've been living overseas for a while now, and although sometimes the Halifax app is a little behind times and hard to navigate, the perks of this card have been outstanding. You don't get charged any fees for using your card abroad which has saved me so much money. They don't offer any other perks with the card barring the occasional period of super low interest, but the savings alone with using the card overseas trump any offers I've had with loyalty cards prior. Best customer service

I have been with a number of Banks and Halifax has been the best for everything I have needed. The customer service team over the phone was able to set up my online banking straight away, and helped when I was going abroad that the card wouldn't be frozen like it so commonly is with other banks.
