my grandad opened my first bank account with Halifax when I was younger and I'm still with them 15 years later! They're the best bank. Great customer service. They support you through hard times. An Excellent Free Bank Account

The Reward Current Account is a free account that pays you £3 per month if you stay in credit plus there are a number of cashback offers that you can earn using your debit card, these are paid very quickly compared to most cashback. Overdraft charges are cheap at just 1p per day per £7 owed and charges are applied each day so there is no big bill at the end of the month. Reviewed on: 7th February 2018
