Very helpful staff who go out of their way to help you (Kendal branch).

I travel a lot for work and I've often run into problems that HSBC has helped me out with. I once had my debit card stolen and it was difficult to get a replacement while I was abroad. However, the helpful staff at Kendal branch enabled me to get a new card promptly, and they also suggested making my mother a signatory to my account so that she can authorise such processes in the future should a similar situation arise. Current account

Almost always a good experience

I’ve used hsbc for years. Savings, day to day accounts and mortgages. Have always found them easy to contact, staff are generally on the ball and helpful. Never had any issues, and they’ve helped me out at times as well. Highly recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2023

Not big on credit support for lower income clients

I've been a customer since 2019 - no overdraft, credit card nor loans offered - atm used for international cash withdrawal not cost effective either Reviewed on: 9th March 2023
