Great customer service

I have progressed from a student account to a graduate account and have been with HSBC for a number of years. I am primarily with them because I work abroad frequently and they really have branches everywhere! However, the highlight of my experience is from the staff at a UK branch, in Kendal. Anytime I have experienced a problem while abroad, they have worked to fix it asap and have helped me out of a number of fixes. They even give me a cup of tea whenever I pop into the branc... I went to HSBC because I lost my card, and I met a beautiful customer service agent, Linda Newron, who welcomed me and helped how to get new card in the post, taught me how to use the new system cash machine because I am illiterate, I really appreciate her a lot. Absolutely Horrendous Treatment of a Loyal Customer!

I have been an HSBC customer for several years, with both a mortgage and credit card. I have never missed a payment to HSBC or any lender, and my credit rating is excellent (AAA). Despite this, I am still waiting for a decision on my remortgage application, which is now jeopardising my upcoming house move scheduled for the end of the month. HSBC is very reliable.

HSBC is very reliable. They always keep in touch with their customers and ensure they are safe at all times. They help to recover lost or stolen funds. I appreciate their kindness and service . I feel very safe banking with them. Reviewed on: 13th January 2025

Worst banking experienced in have ever had

Basic thing like doing a transfer they are unable to do in promised time. They still use fax technology in order to do telegraphic transfers. Staff have no idea how long it takes and you get different information from every person and department you talk to.
