Very helpful staff who go out of their way to help you (Kendal branch).

I travel a lot for work and I've often run into problems that HSBC has helped me out with. I once had my debit card stolen and it was difficult to get a replacement while I was abroad. However, the helpful staff at Kendal branch enabled me to get a new card promptly, and they also suggested making my mother a signatory to my account so that she can authorise such processes in the future should a similar situation arise. Over 22 Years of Service

I have been with HSBC since they were Midland Bank and I was a 12 year old "Griffin Saver". Over time they have really moved with the times. I use their online banking every single day. I check my balances, I move money between accounts and pay friends and family. I used to use their phone banking before internet banking came along and I was always happy with that as well. Recently I locked myself out of my online account and it was really easy to sort out via their helpline. Friendly and quick service. I have a paperless account as well which is very important to me. Awful

Works for me

Their banking apps work, (unlike another major bank who refuse to make their app work with Android tablets. They have always been fair and understanding with us. Reviewed on: 7th December 2018
