Peace of mind

As a beginner commuter cyclist, I was a little apprehensive at the thought of finding an insurance company that would actually pay out in the event of accident or theft. The shop I bought my bike from recommended Laka, and I was immediately won over by their clear love of cycling and desire to get and keep people cylcing. Best claims experience, great value for money!

I’ve had to claim for a stolen bike twice in my life, and the experience with Laka was vastly different from what I had with another provider. That provider outsourced claim handling to an external team that dragged its feet and tried to sell me a much cheaper (and worse) bike as a replacement. They were persistent and made the claim process much more stressful on top of the robbery itself. In contrast, Laka’s claim process was smooth and personal.
