Recommended by my daughter, a keen cyclist. I like the way they give you a monthly update on where your money goes. Fortunately haven't had to make a claim yet, so can't comment on their customer service, but they seem genuinely engaged with the cycling community. Reviewed on: 3rd September 2026

Great to set up but not used cover in 'anger'

TBH, I've got bike insurance for 2 bikes through LAKA and the process is great, cover extensive, rules easy to understand. I have not yet had to use the insurance and that is where the real experience would happen. I hope I do not need to claim but from the reviews it was one of the reasons I chose Laka over other providers Reviewed on: 3rd September 2026

Laka was easy to sign up with, had clear conditions and was well recommended by many cyclists. It really feels like you're part of a community, rather than an inpersonal insurance brand. You get information on where your moneys going which is interesting and unique. Reviewed on: 3rd September 2026

I have been using Laka for a few years now. Laka has provided impeccable service for my claims and repairs. I am now on my 3rd bike with them and I have never been dissappointed, disgruntled or left unsatisfied. Laka is an example of what a business that cares for its customers look like.
