Helpful bank

Excellent internet banking

Very reliable and responsive. Easy to access for all accounts including some non Lloyds accounts. Poor interest rates let's it down. Low interest on the current account however Reviewed on: 8th February 2020

Great customer service

Club Lloyds have rewards I enjoy. They also have great customer services. When there was a glitch at the beginning when sorting the account out, not only were they sincere, but they were very prompt in sorting it all out. Very pleased. Reviewed on: 8th February 2020

I've never been tempted to leave

The one downside with Lloyds I've found is across all banks - which is charges for using your card abroad. But I have a Revolut card now (I believe they're actually owned by Lloyds). The rates on their savings accounts are poor - I do wish they'd incentivise staying with them to save. Reviewed on: 7th February 2020

Good online, but not that trustworthy...

As mentioned, online banking is good and easy to use, but just had too many things be dodgy with them - mis-sold life insurance, endowment mortgage, and refused a £125 payment when took out Club Lloyds under a promotion - poor. Reviewed on: 7th February 2020

Outstanding established bank

A fine example of an established institution nimble enough to move with the times. Adapted well t(o upgrade itself to remain competitive in the face of app based challenger banks whilst maintaining that aspect the challengers will never have: human face to face contact in-branch. One of the better traditional banks

Lloyds feels safe as one of the traditional banks, but has good online banking and an excellent app, plus the Club Lloyds account does give some genuine benefits to a straightforward current account. Reviewed on: 6th February 2020
