Bonus coupons unreliable, otherwise ok

They send mailouts 4x per year with additional coupons for bonus reward points offers but they often don't track properly so you have to chase them up, which is a pain. They often don't scan properly instore either, both at staffed and self checkouts. Reviewed on: 28th June 2023

Rubbish app

The app is awful !! I’ve been trying to move all my details over to my new device & nothing is made easy , then it locks you out!! I’ve never had any problems with other credit cards in the past only this one . Reviewed on: 26th March 2023

I got a credit card from M&S 3 months ago and since last week i tried to do a balance transfer and the customer service doesnt say if it is approved or not. i contacted the online chat and they said it was declined for a reason but noone contacted me. Again on Monday i tried and did the correct method and still nothing. i will cancel the credit card as there is no use to have a card that you cant use. M&S did a bad job with this, they should go back to selling clothes and exepnsive sandwishes :S Reviewed on: 24th March 2023

Awful, awful. Awful

Avoid at all costs! Their customer service is beyond terrible, in 15 years of having credit accounts I've never had an issue and in 8 months with M and S bank I've had 3 major issues. They are also incredibly cryptic with their payment dates to trick you into getting missed payment charges - my statement was dated January 27th and said my next due date was Feb 19th. I paid on Jan 27th, the second I read the statement. To my surprise I have a missed payment charge, customer service say "oh the statement is issued on the 27th so you have to pay on the 28th onwards for the next statement". I've never know a bank issue statements that request money on a date that falls within the previous month's payment window. I also had an order arrive with 50% of the items missing but they only partially refunded me, so they essentially stole my money after having to fight tooth and nail to even get the refund in the first place. I am still waiting

I applied for an M&S credit card and almost a month later I am still waiting! I have no debts so it should be straightforward but after calling the customer service multiple times and waiting for 40 to talk to a call centre manger, nothing. I found this review page out of curiosity If there are other ones like me which proved that they are. I have already applied for another one if ever this arrives it will not be activated. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS CARD !! Your bank people are hopeless call centre employees! Reviewed on: 22nd February 2023
