Exceptionally uncompetitive interest rates made me move

Generally the mortgages provided by the Mansfield were good. As with all financial institutions I find they are quick to increase interest rates and costs and slow to reduce but that goes for all. The remortgage offers provided to me were unrealistic and basically awful. The cheapest was still over £500 per MONTH more expensive that the Halifax we moved to.. Let that sink in.... Per Month MORE expensive.. it was unviable for me to remain at the Mansfield and I moved my business Reviewed on: 3rd June 2024

The mortgage met my needs but high interest rate

The mortgage met my needs, as they were very specific due to circumstances, but was extremely expensive with a high interest rate. Fees for early termination were also very high. Customer service was wonderful, however I had to call every month to pay my mortgage as they were unable to update the DD date. Overall experience was ok, has I not required a very specific product I would have gone with another company with better interest rates. Reviewed on: 11th July 2025

I couldn’t recommend Mansfield unfortunately due to them not reporting to credit agencies. 2 years of paying my mortgage and none of my credit reports reflect this as no reporting by Mansfield. Reviewed on: 10th July 2025
