As the title suggests, it’s a bank that does what it says it will do and helped my family navigate a complex bereavement and nothing was too much trouble and had knowledge and expertise to signpost to other resources. We are eternally greatful. Reviewed on: 3rd April 2023

Customer service second to none.

Ever since my first call with metro bank, they have exceeded expectations of how efficient they are, making these normally time consuming and draining phone call conversations an absolutely day brightener. They ask to talk on a first name basis, which I’ve always found very personable. I believe that with this levelling of players on the field, as customer service members will always introduce themselves on a first name basis right? Actually creates a much friendlier and authentic customer service experience, and both parties feel more relaxed. Their opening times are a game changer when it comes to banking, definitely more suitable to the everyday working person. Also, using your card in Europe has been made so easy and without an extra cost to you too! It’s made my frequent travels smooth and stress free. Best bank and never moved since 16!!

For every time I have had an issue making payments or switching to a current account or forgetting my password, they have immediately helped me on the spot. I’ve never had to wait for service, they do their absolute best. For me working in hospitality I understand people not quite appreciating the work and effort behind the scenes.
