My husband of many years passed away very recently. We were with another high st bank. As our main working account for many years. I tried to register his death and needed help sorting out official stuff. They were not compassionate or helpful to me in any way. Saying nobody available to see me until the next week and sent me away. As we also had an account with Metro I thought I will go see what they could do. A young chap was called Blaze was so lovely so helpful and compassionate. He sent a long time sorting everything out for me there and then. Consequently I had all our moneys transferred to Metro and closed our other accounts with the other unhelpful bank. As I am in my seventies it took a while for young Blaze to sort me out. I love Metro Bank and they are always helpful and reassuring for me. I would not go anywhere else. Thank you so much for your help and expertise at a time when I needed most. Amazing! Staff are amazing!

I went into Metro a week after moving to oxford and the staff were lovely and super friendly. They helped me complete the necessary paperwork and were extremely patient and chatty. Their online banking app is very effective and easy to use so I would definitely recommend joining Metro if you struggle with that. Overall I had a great experience and would feel more than comfortable going into the bank if I ever had any issues (which I'm sure I won't!) :) Reviewed on: 10th March 2023
