Amazing hassle-free bank

I cannot recommend enough! Before Metro Bank, I never found banking pleasurable or easy. Metro bank is very easy to deal with, the Personal Banking online platform and phone app are straight forward and easy to use. Customer services are always kind and helpful, you never have to wait long to be put through. the staff in-bank is always helpful, polite and organized. I'm would like to have all my financial bits with Metro bank (e.g. Shares ISA), I know it's only a matter of time! Reviewed on: 24th March 2021

Whenever I've had to contact them Metrobank have been very helpful. They're friendy and professional. The app and its features are exactly what I need. They're open extended hours so if I need to go into the branches I can. Reviewed on: 24th March 2021

Easy, covenient and welcoming

What a breath of fresh air compared to the stuff instutional banks. I opened an account within minutes and even left with a cheque book on the same day. They don't have branches, they have stores with open access and friendly staff. Top this off with low transaction fees, decent rates and super-friendly staff - these guys have set a benchmark for others to aspire to. Reviewed on: 24th March 2021

Goes beyond expectations

2 things I would like to mention. 1 I used the phone connection to the bank, this was 3 to 4 years ago. I was transferring money for a holiday and got chatting, there was no rush. The person on the phone was interested in where I was going which was Singapore. We ended up chatting for an hour.I live on my own and was nice to chat. Which now during this pandemic we appreciate more. METRO BANK was doing this years before. At the end of an hour chat, the person said, I've enjoyed our chat. Im crediting your account with £5 as you made my day. 2 My Local Metro Bank in Aylesbury. Knew me and knew I was learning to drive Buses. When they learnt I passed my bus drivers license, they had got me a mini Double decker bus, a box of chocolates and a card. No other bank has been this personal to me. We still have a laugh when I pop in.
