Great attitude and accessible

I am in my 40s and had previously banked with HSBC but moved to Metro around 4 years ago. I followed my wife there after visiting a branch and the whole engagement was positive, friendly and helpful. Multiple times my wife and daughter have gone in to the branch, on a Saturday or Sunday, just to reset on-line banking and staff are always helpful and welcoming. They engage the family and the small children love a lolly! Having worked in banking, where other banks have scaled back on branch access and essentially you can only talk to someone in person if you are going to buy something from the bank (mortgages, investments etc) it was so refreshing I moved and have never looked back. The move was very smooth and the app is also extremely easy to use and intuitive. Reviewed on: 19th March 2021

i joined metro 2 years ago and have recommended to family and friends , easy mobile banking app , staff instore at liverpool brance go above and beyond to help always a happy enviroment , telephone staff are great help .have been with other banks and building societies but this is by far the best . Small scale users valued

I opened an account at the very first Metro Bank location (London Holborn) within months of this branch first opening. While other banks focused on automating services to small scale customers and limiting options in the process, Metro Bank concentrated on small scale customers and offers a growing range of services. Of particular importance to me as someone who avoids cars as much as I can to limit my environmental footprint, I appreciate that branches offer bicycle parking and welcome dogs (and other pets) to accompany customers in branches. It is not just the capacity to see or speak with someone 7 days a week, but also the first class and easily used on-line banking facilities which I value. That employee have a personal stake in the success of the bank shows. I appreciate the outreach to educate young people on how to manage their money, ad I appreciate the community spirit Metro Bank stores show.
