A fun, simple account for kids!

Monzo have made it simple and effective to set up a young person's account which is not only free, but offers complete parental oversight and allows children to be in charge of their own finances. With both parents added and child having access to their own monzo app designed for them, the experience is well rounded and accessible for all. Reviewed on: 20th March 2025

U16 account

I received an email regarding the U16 account and while I was interested in getting one for my kids, I expected it to be a pain to open with fees that didn't make it worthwhile. I was very wrong. Took a few clicks and my boys received their cards in a few days. Outstanding and at 7 and 10, they'll remember Monzo forever as their first "account". Excellent way to teach kids about money from an early age and with the app they can access, it gives them all they could need and allows me to set controls for them too. Reviewed on: 20th March 2025
