Brilliant for young adults

Monzo has definitely helped be save my money better than any other bank I've used. Its so easy to put money away in separate pots for different things. The round ups feature and the savings targets help me towards realistic savings goals. Reviewed on: 24th January 2022

Simple and easy

Monzo has really helped me keep track of my finances, understanding exactly where im spending through simple language and by being aesthetically pleasing too. Managing money doesn't feel like a chore anymore

I used to hate budgeting or having to do anything which involved interacting with my bank. That all changed when I got a Monzo current account - the app is so intuitive and engaging, and I don't have to wait in line or listen to call centre hold music - everything is answered within the app. With Monzo, banking feel almost enjoyable! Brilliant banking but not perfect

I’m a big fan of Monzo, it felt like they were the catalyst for technical advancement in an archaic industry. For the first time in my life it feels like I’m not constantly being manipulated and tricked to pay unnecessary charges and their system feels transparent and helpful. Support is prompt and human. Lots of useful tools and features. I do, however, have a couple of minor gripes, the user interface of the app feels awkward, it was updated some years ago and it lost its intuitive structure. I’ve watched people new to Monzo struggle to get a hang of moving between pots and accounts. I’ve also received numerous emails selling loans only to he told at the first stage of application that being self-employed means I don’t have a regular income which is untrue and a very dated way of looking at employment status. This seems at odds with their forward thinking in every other area. Reviewed on: 24th January 2022
