Very good bank!

Monzo was my first online-only account. Apart from one customer service issue which I received compensation for, they've been really good. My partner and friends also have Monzo accounts and to go out for dinner for example and have bill splitting is really helpful. It's all very simple compared to the old banks who put customers below profits. Reviewed on: 13th January 2022

Great exchange rates

When ever I'm abroad i always make sure to move my travel money over the my Monzo account. The exchange rates means I save more money. Reviewed on: 12th January 2022

Avoid. There are better banks out there.

Monzo was great until someone made an unauthorized purchase using my wife's card through Trainline. It was a nightmare trying to get it resolved with Monzo, who were then happy to side with Trainline, despite the horrible feedback they've received due to their shady business practices and awful customer support. I would advise people looking for a mobile bank to look elsewhere. There are better app/banks/platforms out there that wont completely screw you when life happens. Don't risk going with Monzo.
