Monzo and its features

I've been a customer since 2019 and their features are mostly a benchmark for other High Street banks. That tells how visionary and thoughtful their features are thinking about customer as always. It's so ease and flexible. Their customer service is really amazing. Reviewed on: 14th April 2021

Super bank

Banking at another level

Revolutionary banking - Their technology allows them to spot issues like frauds faster than any other banks/organizations (take ticket master data leak as an example)! Premium Account has definitely the best Phone Insurance and travel insurance in the market. Highly recommend- never had an issue! Reviewed on: 14th April 2021

Best banking app and services

The app is designed in such way to make the user experience smooth and easy. Their innovative way of communicating to us as customers is done using a language that non bankers people can actually understand. Simple paragraphs without using technical words or lengthy regulation change lists are the key tools that in my opinion helped rebuild the trust that was long broken between people and traditional banks. Moreover the high level of efficiency in Monzo’s services gives the bank more flexibility to be able to meet customers needs. Not having high street branches is perfectly compensated by the online instant support offered as well as a mixed of features in both app and website aimed at guiding customers in every aspect of their experience and providing answer for any possible question/concern. Who misses having to queue to at an high street brunch only to find out when it’s finally your turn that you were in the wrong queue and for what you request you’ll need to make an appointment with a specialist adviser. Not exactly something people have missed in the past year to be honest. I had a traditional bank account for the past 10 years and neither mine of any other well established UK big banks is close enough to being able to compete with monzo’s technology and innovation. They created a way to bank for the people and they are leading the long lasting change in how banks operate. No other banks deserve to win this award more than Monzo does. Simple and efficient

21st century banking

With simple features like a kerching when you receive money they provide simple enjoyments. Plus there are so many other cool benefits that mainstream banks are only just starting to tap into. These are things such as: the ability to attach receipts to a transaction at the time you buy things; categorise transactions, add tags to each transaction, round up the pennies into savings, have separate pots for different costs to support budgeting, have a percentage meter on your savings goals, send and request money through a text, say thank you to people who send you money, split bills, move money based on the weather or your location etc. through IFTTT; or even just Set spending limits for the month to help you budget. There’s so much monzo do that other banks just haven’t considered. They’re truest looking at bringing banking into the 21st century to match how people actually use and need to use money going forwards. Support has definitely got worse but the app is improved

I've used Monzo for years now as my main current account. Mortgage paid out of it, couple of house moves no problem. The app regularly gets updates and looks modern and clean. Support is hit and miss. It's not live chat, more like an internal email that you wait for. Canned responses and transfers to different departments ruin the support experience.
