Happy customer

I originally joined Monzo because I was looking for a payment card that was easy to use when abroad. I added funds to my card and was able to track spending while on holiday without seeing funds further dwindle due to foreign transaction charges. Since then I've found many other things to love about Monzo - their savings pots are great for allocating funds for Christmas/holidays and eating out/clothes shopping, it's easy to move money around, and they responded immediately when I discovered an unknown payment had been taken from my account. The future

Monzo has always been my preferred bank from the fantastic app to the customer service but more importantly, everything I expect from them they do. I had to change my name recently and Monzo was the only bank that didn’t require me to send my original marriage certificate (tracked and insured at my own expense) to them like it’s 1970. Instead, they allowed my to take a photo of it and send it over via the chat, completely free and painless. Truly innovative and most traditional banks copy these newer banks once they have actually built and tested the concept. Reviewed on: 13th April 2021

I have recommended Monzo to everyone I know

Monzo is easy to use and in-the-moment informative. It is pain-free to send money to new payees and to request money from family members. It treats its customers like adults and is available on the chat function when it suits the customer rather than when it suits the bank.
