My go-to bank

I have been using Monzo for my day-to-day banking for the past 4 years. I love how easy it is to request money, split bills, create savings pots and budgets. Plus it has a fun element to it, which makes it stand out form the other banks. Customer service, so far has always been helpful. Reviewed on: 14th April 2025

Monzo makes money easy

Extremely accessible banking - everything is at your fingertips and it’s a one stop shop for current accounts as well as investments, savings, and is fun to use. I don’t dread opening the app as I always have done with other banks, and I love it so much that even my 14 year old sister has got an account now to give her some financial freedom and financial literacy exceeding what I had at that age. Just a girl, trying to save

A few years ago I saw a trend for saving money in wallets for specific purposes, I tried it one or two months and hate taking cash out and keeping it all at home, it didn't feel safe. Enter Monzo. The Pots feature is amazing, I have been able to save and keep it separate (and locked until a specific date if required) from my everyday saving. I am also a "Perks" customer, so I pay an affordable premium every month and am able to customise my spending categories, I have virtual cards for pots that I spend out of (making it quicker at the till/fuel station), a weekly Greggs treat, an annual Railcard, and so many more! I haven't had to use Monzo's customer service so I put this as neutral, however saying that, I have been able to find everything I need in the app or I've been able to find answers online to any questions. I highly recommend Monzo to anyone interested in saving money, the features are brilliant, it helps the do a referral bonus too! Reviewed on: 14th April 2025
