Monzo Current account reviews (17983)

Super easy and intuitive, app-powered.

Chose these guys 18 months ago and have not looked back. Its what a bank looks like when re-imagined, it's app based which is not unique. But its 100% app based, so fast. Customer service is chat based, splitting bills, requesting payment, notification feeds of even why a transaction didn't go through like when I get the CVV number wrong. I never have to call anyone, it's free ( although I appreciate that I will need to pay eventually) and even when I go abroad I use the card at fair exchange rate. I can even upload a photo to be an an icon for all the places where I spend money. Its superb. Reviewed on: 8th November 2018

Wonderful for the moment

I enjoy the app, trust the instant notifications, the super swift customer help - not only that but the almost immediate refunds from shops when my card was stolen, Monzo dealt with it very simply and I was super grateful. I often recommend it to friends but I'm curious about why Starling Bank is also seen as so consistently good. Hands down, beats my old high-street bank, but I do wonder how they can keep getting better and what the future holds... Reviewed on: 7th November 2018

The Pinnacle of 'App Based Banking'

Monzo is the kind of company that 'listens' to it's customers and actually publishes that it is indeed listening. It then holds itself 'accountable' to certain timelines by prioritising customer requests. These are voted for by the outstanding forums- and it truly feels like this is (smart) 'community led banking' for this generation. The best recommendations are word-of-mouth and truly, I have been an ambassador (for free!) to herald Monzo's app and service structures. Informative, Real Time, Fun

Monzo has changed the way I do banking, and the way I manage my money Living on a tight budget means every penny has to be accounted. With real-time spending tracking, I know my exact balance the second I spend something. No more waiting 3 days and second guessing. They're also really open and transparent. Every issue they come across is explained and communicated to members. Even ones that they could perhaps keep to themselves.
