A great, user-friendly and efficient experience

Myself and my partner recently moved to London together. When we were looking for a property to rent and sourcing utility suppliers we thought it would be best to get a joint account. We tried to use Barclays and Santander (as we both have current accounts with them), however they both made us feel like this process was extremely complicated with a long winded process, and ultimately we felt like they didn't even want our business. Barclays offered us a 2 week wait until we could meet with someone from their team to apply, and Santander rejected our application without giving any reason or remedy. We contacted Santander via telephone and in-bank but they would not give us the answers we needed to progress with our application. In steps Monzo to save the day! We were both also current account customers with Monzo, having used them previously when travelling abroad. Setting up a joint account took 10 minutes using the App, and our cards were dispatched and received within 3 days. This has made our lives so easy, as we can clearly see what we have going in and coming out of the account and when. This makes is great for budgeting and lets us know where we are financially every month. Without having ever spoken to someone at Monzo directly, the ease of process and the helpful App make us feel like our business if valued, I would 100% recommend them to friends and family. With thousands of sign-ups every day, they are slowly beginning to start the domination of UK banking. Everything about Monzo is intuitive and user-friendly. From their easy-to-use pots, to their INSTANT payment notifications and responsive 24h support. I support Monzo and promote it whenever I have the chance. Monzo is the only bank I know that actually makes banking so much easier. The whole experience of the app features, customer service, community, and continued improvements to the service make it a positive experience from start to finish. Even simple things like immediately knowing when money enters or leaves your account is something that I can't imagine not having now. Thanks to Monzo, even I can save money now!
