Monzo has changed the way I bank, the easy to use app gives me so much transparency with my money. I used to hate checking my account balance, but now I have so much more awareness for where my spending is going and how I can budget for the future because of the handy budgeting tools and categorisation of my spend. The ability to send money so easily has made the admin of paying people back far easier. I also appreciate the additional security measures they recently introduced for large transfers, introducing 2-step checks to ensure my money is safe. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

An easy "Yes"

When I moved to the UK, I had to start from scratch—including setting up a bank account. They were eager to help me settle in quickly, getting everything set up in under a week without me even stepping foot in a branch. I have never had any issues whilst banking with Monzo.

I have never had any issues whilst banking with Monzo. I moved to Monzo to help me split my casual spending money and my bills and this has worked wonderfully. The different pots have helped me separate money and keep a track of what's going where. Having the countdown to the date payments are going out also makes it easier to manage direct debits etc. I'm also taking part in the 1p challenge set up by Monzo, which is a great way for me to add a little extra savings. The Monzo app is super easy to use making banking quick and painless, the pots are a great way to manage my money and the savings accounts are also managed through app so I can transfer money instantly, it was also easy to open the account. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

Teaching adults how to budget

I love Monzo. I was a kid who was never taught to manage money, who became an adult who was terrible at managing my money. I was constantly living in a deficit and had raked up some credit card debt. Monzo has taught me how to live within a budget thanks to it's really helpful pot system. The app is so easy to use and I feel much more in control of my finances. I also love that I can't access my savings accounts for 24hrs as it makes me consider if I really need to spend the money and most of the time I don't. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

A bank that helps

They've helped me gain control of my finances and make me not dread looking at my balance, not due to me not having enough money, but the friendlyness of the company pulls you in. They teach you about your finances and help you spot where you're spending most. They help you save and invest, plus with the premium accounts have great deals such as a railcard for free. I got scammed but Monzo were fab! Not just Greg either

Honestly, I have always had a great experience with Monzo. I had an embarrasing situation happen to me regarding a scam.. even though ultimately it was not resolved because of Crypto the team was very kind and made me feel better about the issue as well as having updates that seemed to be more protecting of things like this such as the "double payment" notification. Brilliant. Also Greg from Linkedin told me I had to leave this review.. just kidding but this is what banking should be about. Easy to use and quick responsive, friendly assistance.
