Monzo: Getting involved with your money.

Monzo has been a great experience and has gotten me more involved with my finances. I would argue a standard bank I would look at my account maximum twice a month, Monzo has me checking it almost daily. Monzo Changed the Way I Save and Spend!

Monzo Changed the Way I Save and Spend! When I first moved to the UK, I was completely lost when it came to banking. I didn’t really understand the difference between savings and current accounts, and I had no idea how to manage my money in a way that made sense for me. I knew I needed to save, but I just wasn’t sure how to go about it. Then I found Monzo, and honestly, it made everything so much easier. The app is super easy to use, and for the first time, I actually understood how my money was being managed. The way it explains each feature made it clear what I needed to do to start saving properly. The Savings Pots and round-up feature were a game-changer for me. Every time I spent money, Monzo rounded up the transaction and saved the extra change. It made me realize just how much those little amounts add up—and also made me think twice before spending unnecessarily. But my favorite feature? The Daily Savings plan. It takes a tiny, almost unnoticeable amount from my account every day, and by the end of the year, I have up to £650 saved without even thinking about it! Before Monzo, I was terrible at saving. Now, I’m actually excited to watch my savings grow effortlessly. If you struggle with managing money like I did, Monzo might just change everything for you too. Reviewed on: 18th March 2025

My Monzo card is great for everyday spending

My Monzo card is great when travelling abroad & for day to day spending - always gives me the best exchange rates and is easy to use. I love the round up feature for saving without even realising it!
